First day of the trip, we travelled to a campsite near Folkestone so we were near the channel tunnel for the morning. We had to dropped Emma’s work laptop off on the way and get fuel, which meant we were on track to hit the M25 at about 5pm. Amazingly, the traffic wasn’t too bad and the journey was unremarkable (which is all you can hope for really when going anywhere near the south east).

We arrived at the campsite just after 8pm, and within 20 mins, we’d put up the garage for the little cuties, made dinner and were sat down eating outside, enjoying the unseasonably warm spring evening in the UK. We had a rather good chili if I say so myself, rice, guac and tortilla chips.
